Things to do in Bath as we head into the Christmas season

The city of Bath takes on a different feel in the wintertime. As evenings grow darker and temperatures drop, the city fills with lights and magic. A cosy sort of calm has wrapped itself around the city as we wait for the opening of the famous Bath Christmas Market at the end of November.

Whether you are just passing through on a day trip or here for a longer stay, there are plenty of things to explore throughout the city this winter.

The Roman Baths

Hot natural springs combined with cold air makes for atmospheric steam rising from the Roman Baths in the winter. It is definitely a more dramatic time of year to visit, and you will really feel the heat of the springs in contrast with the cold winter weather.

Tip: Check out their winter and Christmas events to see if anything of interest aligns with your visit.
