Christmas Message from our CEO, Mike Fairbeard
2019 has been a busy year for our YMCA.
We are moving towards formally merging YMCA Bath Group into YMCA Mendip by April 2020 at which point we plan to take on a new name that better represents our geographical area (Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire, Mendip and South Somerset) whilst at the same time maintaining a local identity in each key area.
Over the last year staff have started to work together and we are making strong progress in becoming one YMCA benefiting from wider expertise, knowledge and support.
I am particularly proud of the diverse range of work we offer across this YMCA and the impact we have in so many different areas. This is all down to dedicated staff teams, volunteers and individuals who support our work, maybe through membership or through giving – and in recognition of that I would like to say a huge thank you, on behalf of the Board of Trustees and myself.
Which leaves me also to add that everyone at this YMCA wishes you a very happy Christmas and best wishes for 2020.
